CSSC Offshore has the following fabrication and construction shipyards:

1. Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.(SWS)

CSSC SWS was founded in1999, which is a 100%-invested subsidiary company of a public company—CSSC holdings Ltd.( 600150SH). SWS has a total yard area of 5 million square meters, in which the annual shipbuilding capacity is over 7 million deadweight tonnage. SWS has become the first class Shipyard in China, both the annual shipbuilding capacity and economic profit have continuously achieved the top level among the domestic shipbuilding enterprises in the past few years.

As a shipbuilding enterprise which focuses on both the marine and offshore projects, SWS has fully guaranteed the construction duration and the products quality by utilizing advanced facilities, scientific operational process, effective management and computerized CIMS system. So far, SWS has manufactured over 100 vessels, all of them were delivered on time with high quality, and earned the trust and respect from international owners all over the world.

CSSC SWS established the goal to achieve first-class manufacture for marine and offshore projects. SWS has developed the 170,000 DWT Capesize bulk carriers of green standard, has become the largest international market share; 110,000 DWT of crude oil Aframax-class tanker gained "Chinese Famous Brand" title; 300,000 DWT FPSO successfully built, shows that CSSC has been ranked the world's advanced FPSO level; 3,000 meters deep water semi-submersible drilling unit is the six-generation deepwater SEMI rig, it’s also the Chinese national "863" project.

2. Shanghai Shipyard Co., Ltd.

CSSC Shanghai Shipyard was founded in 1862, is one of the historic shipyards which has more than 3,800 employees nowadays. The mainstay of Shanghai Shipyard includes shipbuilding, offshore engineering, ship repair, steel production. Shanghai Shipyard is also one of five major ship repair base of CSSC group, and three production bases in the offshore engineering. Shanghai Shipyard actively implements the CSSC's product development strategy for offshore engineering. About 25 years ago, Shanghai Shipyard built the first SEMI drilling unit ’Exploration III’. During 2008~2009, Shanghai Shipyard built two 12,000 feet drilling vessels for U.S. owner. The company is now building ‘12-stream seismic geophysical exploration vessel’ for CNOOC.

3. CSSC Huangpu Shipyard

In Changzhou base, the shipyard has a production area of 0.7 million square meters , 3,000-meter-long quay shoreline, water depth is about 6-9 m. The floating dock can provide lifting force of 12,000 tons. The shipyard also has CNC plasma cutting machine, frame bending machine, 120 ton gantry crane, 150 tons of flatbed and enough advanced water, processing, lifting and transportation facility.

In Longxue base, the shipyard has a production area of 1.18 million square meters, 3,500-meter-long quay shoreline, with a 360 meters long, 96 meters wide and 14.3 meters deep and 600 ton gantry crane dock and other advanced facilities and equipment.
